JUNIOR ACADEMY OF THE 2018 MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL PIANO & STRINGS FESTIVAL
We are excited to announce that the 2018 Melbourne International Piano and Strings Festival will include a Junior Academy to provide an opportunity for young musicians to learn about Australian culture and be inspired and encouraged to further develop their potential. Students will have a chance to participate in masterclasses, improve their aural skills, and learn about Australian culture through interactive workshops on Australian folk songs. All students will also perform in a graduation concert and learn how to present like a professional musician. At the culmination of the program, students are invited to attend the Gala Concert of the Melbourne International Piano and Strings Festival, where they will hear the most talented musicians from the festival perform, and be inspired by the performance of a master teacher from the festival.
The Junior Academy of the 2018 Melbourne International Piano and Strings Festival will be hosted at The University of Melbourne in Parkville, Melbourne.
